The Mitre-Mite VN Manual is an entry level frame assembly machine. Economical yet Mitre-Mite quality! It doesn't require electricity or an air source as the V-Nail is driven solely by a heavy duty mechanical gear which is foot actuated. This machine can be operated from the front or back depending on operator preference and V-Nails can be driven or stacked anywhere along the frame joint. This machine is well suited for low production shops, the hobby trade, or areas where noise is a major concern.

Mitre-Mite VN42 Joiner

The Mitre-Mite VN 42 has been designed for ease of operation and is particularly well suited for assembling larger frames. This machine comes with a height adjustable base and has a convenient tilt / roll feature which allows for easy movement around the shop. it can be operated from the front or back and has a dual stage foot pedal which allows the framer to see if the corner is properly aligned before nailing. After the framer sets the stops, the hand lever is then used to position the nail head for driving or stacking V-Nails’ any where along the frame joint.

ITW AMP Sander

A precision sanding tool for the Custom Framer.  With this tool, you can accurately true a corner by simply rotating the 12" sanding disc against the miter cut.  This allows for perfect corners when joining and therefore a quality frame every time. 

Comes with a 45 degree template for accurate setting, Allen wrenches, a cleaning stick, and 3 sanding disks.

Fletcher AMP U 500 / VN4 MP Joiner

Our U-500 is recommended for high-volume production facilities that require the primary use of a single sized V-Nail for frame joining. The U-500 has the same user-friendly, touch screen interface as our U-600 Underpinner. The only difference between the two models being the U-500 has single channel capacity compared to a multi-channel with the U-600 unit.

With data storage of 5,000 different frame profiles, the operator can easily recall any frame profile alphabetically, numerically or by using the bar code reading option.

The U-500 is equipped with both a horizontal and vertical clamping mechanism to securely hold the moulding during the V-Nail insertion process.

The Fletcher AMP U 500 / Mitre-Mite VN4+MP has been designed for production shops which need to change over frequently. Its memory program technology is" state of the art" allowing profile data for up to 1,400 frames to be entered or downloaded from PC. Once this information is stored, the operator then brings up the next frame to be produced or scans with the optional bar code reader. This machine will automatically adjust and production can restart immediately! V-Nails can be driven or stacked in up to 10 positions per corner. This machine is very fast and easily drives all types of wood, plastic and MDF. Other features include a pneumatic load / feed system to eliminate jams and clamping fixtures to fit most profiles including a double hydraulic hold down for wider shaped frames.

Mitre-Mite VN4E-3L Joiner

The Mitre-Mite VN4E-3L has been designed to last many years in a high production environment. It has a reinforced nail driver for trouble free cycling plus heavy duty air cylinders for extended periods of production with very little maintenance. Also, this machine has a reserve air tank which keeps system pressure at the desired levels when driving the hardwoods and MDF. The VN4E-3L is fast and comes equipped with a computer which electronically controls where v-nails are driven along the frame joint. V-Nails can be driven or stacked in up to 3 positions per corner. Other features include a pneumatic load / feed system to eliminate jams, clamping fixtures to fit most profiles, and a long stroke nail driver for assembling larger frames.

Mitre-Mite VN 144S / Alfamachine U 400 Frame Joiner

The VN144S is our most advanced custom framing machine, offering adjustable height and a tiltable bed for ultimate ease of operation.  This machine can assembly up to 8-inch-wide moulding—the widest capacity in the industry—making it well-suited for assembly of larger frames. It incorporates a new “interchangeable size magazine” that allows the operator to quickly change between V-Nail® sizes, while eliminating the added cost of plastic nail cartridges.  The VN144S can be set up very quickly and easily.  It can be operated from either front or back; joystick can be switched from left or right control as well.
