Print description below title: This panorama captured the Utah Runnin’ Utes hosting a non-conference team and breaking the Wichita Shockers win streak with an overtime victory at Jon M. Huntsman Center. The Runnin’ Utes gained control in the extra session to come away with a 69-68 upset win in front of a boisterous home crowd. Utah began play in 1908 and by 1916 they had won their first national championship. However, it wasn’t until 1927, when Utah hired coach Vadal Peterson, that they began to lay the foundation for what would become one of the winningest programs in college basketball.
