HAL-1 " Cotton Row "
A part of Huntsville's heritage has been masterfully canvassed with the release of Douglas C. Hess' limited edition print, "Cotton Row." Not only does this print capture a part of Huntsville's historic past, but it also reflects a hint of its bright future. A closer look at the print will reveal that Mr. Hess has painted a hidden image of the Space Shuttle. It is portrayed as a reflection in the white area of the glass covered sign in the bottom left hand corner of the print. The Space Shuttle is symbolic of Huntsville's high-tech role as a leader in the aerospace industry.
