The Scene: The Blackhawks have played hockey in Chicago Stadium for over 60 years. It is known as the loudest hockey  arena in the sport and this credit belongs to the faithful fans of Chicago.   Since the first game on December 15, 1929 the Hawks have won three Stanley Cups in 1934, 1938, and 1961.  Four banners hang from the rafters to commemorate past Blackhawk greats Glenn Hall #1, Bobby Hall #9, Stan Mkita #21, and Tony Esposito #35.  This Scene shows a game against the Detroit Redwings on October 23, 1993.  The Hawks are ahead 3-1 on their way to a 4-2 victory in which Joe Murphy tallied twice along with goals by Dirk Graham and Kevin Todd. Ed Belfour was magnificent in the net with 29 saves.  The stadium was packed with a standing room only crowd of 18,472.
